The Mommy Voice - that's the soft and caring voice I use with the kids.
The Everyday Voice - that's my normal voice I use.
And finally I have...
The Wife Voice - that's the voice I use after asking him for the third time to take the garbage out and he still hasn't done it.
All I can say is that if he wants me to stop using the "Wife" voice with him he better take the garbage out after the first time I ask him. Sure I could take the garbage out, but we have an arrangement. He does certain chores and I do certain chores. I don't take the garbage out and he doesn't iron. I don't mow the lawn and he doesn't deal with the household bills.

Hopefully you don't have to use the "wife voice" very often :)
Which one do you use when it's just, you know..... the two of you??? Or do you have a fourth voice for that?
