Jeans, What's The Best Fit For You

There is a lot of different styles of jeans out there and finding the best style for your body size isn't always the easiest thing to do.

There is a couple of rules that can make this task easier though. If you are petite the best style of jeans for you is skinny jeans. You want to accentuate your curves and wearing skinny leg or skinny fit jeans is the best way to do that. For those of you, like myself, which are on the average to larger size, then the best style of jeans would be boot cut jean or something with a straight leg to draw attention away from your curves.

If you are not sure what style you think looks best on you then try on a few different styles to see what's most comfortable and most flattering on you. If you can't find the style you like at your local mall then shop online. Jeans can be the most essential part of any women's wardrobe and you want to make sure have the right style for you body type and look the best you can.

Sexy Or Practical?

They say that a great way to keep a marriage alive is to add some spice in the bedroom and a great way to do that is to wear some sexy lingerie.

After 11 years of marriage and two children I have to tell you that all my lingerie is either long gone or on the very bottom of my bureau. Unfortunately I tend to more often then not to wear my flannel pajamas to bed. I know, not very sexy is it.

My husband is like any typical man and would prefer to see me in some high heels and some sexy costumes instead of my regular flannel pajamas. My question to you is sexy lingerie or flannel pajamas?

One of my favorite scary stories is about Resurrection Mary, or better know as the hitchhiker ghost. Whenever I drive by a cemetery at night I always get a little freaked out that I'm going to see a girl hitchhiking. Here is a version of Resurrection Mary I found from www.HauntedAmericaTours.com.

"Resurrection Mary is a famous ghost story and is considered by many to be the original hitchhiker ghost story. It takes place around the Chicago area in Justice, Illinois. Many travelers down Archer Avenue -- a street which runs through the city of Chicago -- and its South Suburbs, have reported seeing a young blonde girl walking by, some who have seen her have claimed to even have given her a ride. The girl is said to be very quiet once picked up and disappears once the driver passes the gates of Resurrection Cemetery in Justice Illinois.

The very first, first-person account came from Jerry Palus, a south-side man who recently died. He picked up a girl at the Liberty Grove and Hall near 47th and Mozart and danced with her the entire evening. The only strange thing is that she was very cold to the touch. Later she asked for a ride home which was somewhere in the Bridgeport area of Chicago but decided she'd like to go for a ride past the large Catholic cemetery along Archer Avenue, Resurrection. As they began to approach the main gates, she began to act very strangely. She told Jerry to pull the car off the road and, for some reason, she had to run toward the cemetery and that Jerry could not follow. Before he knew what was happening, she darted from the car, ran towards the main gates but disappeared before reaching those gates in plain view of Jerry. He then began to put all of this together and surmised that he had been with a ghost that evening. On a later visit to the home of Mary, he was greeted by a woman who told him that her daughter had been dead for sometime. He even saw a picture of her sitting on a table and was convinced that she was the same girl he had been with. However, that was impossible!"

It's Baby Time For Hollywood

There must be something in the water because a lot of celebrities have recently announced they're expecting.

Actress Alyson Hannigan, from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother, has recently announced that she and her husband is expecting their first child.

Country singer Brad Paisley and wife actress Kimberly Williams, from the television show According To Jim, have announced they are expecting their second child.

Actor Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke, announced that they are expecting twins.

At the rate that celebrities are getting pregnant I guess there is going to be a lot less parting and a lot more healthy cooking in Hollywood.

Getting In Shape

Have you ever wonder how celebrities can look so fabulous months and even weeks after having a baby? It's been almost 4 years since I had my last baby and I still don't look the same as I did before I got pregnant. Okay maybe they have personal trainers that they see 5 times a day, but there is a fun way that us every day people can loss that baby weight and get physically fit.

A home pool or Swim spa is a great way to lose weight and exercise. One of the best things about them is that you don't have to leave you own home to use it. No more having to run to the gym or the pool to work out, you can work out at your own schedule. You never have to worry about paying gym fees again. I joined a gym once and went for the first little while, but then I got too busy to make it there and never went. Those gym fees went down the drain.

Another great type of home pool is Hydrotherapy pools. These pools are great for people who suffer from arthritic pain, chronic pain, fibromyalgia and other types of chronic pain diseases. Aquatic therapy has been proven to be an excellent way to bring relief to those suffering from these painful diseases.

Must Have Makeup

I love makeup! I always have. I can not live without makeup! Okay maybe I could, but I wouldn't be happy without it.

I always wear makeup when I go out. It doesn't matter if it's the mall or the corner store, I have to have my makeup on.

I think I'm turning my daughter into me. She recently got into wearing foundation to cover her acne. I got her some oil free makeup so that it shouldn't make it worse. I think I created a monster though. She wears it all the time now when she goes out. She only uses foundation and lip gloss so I guess she's pretty good compared to a lot of her friends who look like a makeup bag exploded on their face.

Britney Innocent?

Well it looks like Britney Spears will not be convicted of driving without a valid California drivers license.

Jurors in the trial were deadlocked 10-2, but it is unsure if the majority of votes for guilty or innocent. Jurors need to have a unanimous decision for a guilt verdict to be made.

The trial is a result of Britney bumping into a parked car while being chased by paparazzi back in August of 2007. Britney had a valid Louisiana drivers license at the time.

Britney could have faced up to 6 months in prison and a fine of $1,000, but we all know how long celebrities actually spend time in jail......remember Paris Hilton!

Jeff Dunham And Walter

My sister brought me up a DVD the other day and she told me I HAD to watch it because it's the funniest thing she ever saw. It was the Jeff Dunham special he did on Comedy Central. I've never heard of him before so I had no idea what it was about. Just to let you know Jeff Dunham is a ventriloquist and stand up comedian. He uses a few different dummies in his show, but Walter is my favorite.

Madonna And Ritchie To Divorce

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have officially announced the end of their nearly eight year long marriage.

The couple have 2 children, son Rocco and adopted son David. Madonna also has a daughter Lourdes from a previous relationship.

The couples estimated worth is over $525 million with the majority of the wealth coming from Madonna. The details of the divorce settlement, like who gets the cars, houses, and HDTV have not been released.

This is my niece J.T. and my sister's dog Coco. Every girl loves a toy dog, including 5 year olds. She may look like she's adoring the puppy here, but in reality she's thinking about getting it a diamond collar and a little pink bag to carry the dog in. Hey, she may only be 5, but she's still a girl.

The Good And The Bad Side Of Facebook

I joined facebook a long time ago. It's kinda fun. They have lots of fun applications on there, it's a great way to kill time on the computer and you get to find old friends.

You have to be very careful about friend request though. Sure accepting a friend request from nice guy in high school you very friends with may sound fine, but man you have to be careful! You may find out that guy from high school had a thing for you back then and still does. And even after you telling him that you are very happily married with two children he still might think you two were meant to be together.

Romatic Candle Light Dinner For Two

When was the last time you had a romantic candle light dinner with your significant other?

If you're like me the answer would be a long time! I honestly can not remember the last time just the two of us even had dinner together without kids let alone a romantic candle light dinner. Kinda pitiful eh!

My husband asked my last night what I wanted for upcoming birthday and honestly all I want is to have a quiet romantic candle light dinner with just the two of us. We can even have it at home, I got a new cook book with lots of Italian recipes that I've been dying to try out. Now I just got to see if my sister will take the kids for the night......cross your fingers for me!

Captain Jack Is Coming Back

Actor Johnny Depp has signed on for a fourth installment in the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies. Depp is reportedly being paid $61 million to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

A Romantic New Bedroom

My bedroom is in desperate need of a makeover! It's been the exact same for about 5 years now. When I redecorated it back then I made it a little on the masculine side for my husband, but now I want a change. I want something pretty and I think something like this Bed is a good start.

Carpet Cleaners

Every year right before the holidays I have the carpets in my house professionally cleaned. With a house full of kids and pets my carpets get really dirty really fast. Don't get me wrong, I vacuum my carpets twice a week, but during the holiday seasons with so much company coming over I always want my house to look extra nice. Sure I could just rent a carpet cleaner and clean them myself, but it never comes out as nice as when you have professional carpet cleaners do it. Have you ever tried to get grape Kool-Aid out of a carpet yourself, it's not possible, but this is something that the professionals can do. Who has time during the holiday season with all the shopping, baking, and decorating to go out rent a carpet cleaner, lug it back to your house, clean you carpets and then lug it back to the store. I know I sure don't! I would much rather have someone come in with their expert equipment and clean the carpets for me. In the amount of time it takes for me to go rent a carpet cleaner and come back to my house they could have already have had my carpets cleaned for me. This holiday season I'm definitely going to get my carpets professionally cleaned again.

Date With Patrick Dempsey

Today was my day off and it wasn't much of a day off. I've been running around all day and I'm exhausted. I had to pick up a birthday gift for my niece, get groceries, get my registered which involved waiting in line at the DMV for an hour, and make a Barbie birthday cake for my niece's party tomorrow. Since I've been busy all day I figured I deserved a little treat. I've got a date with Patrick Dempsey....okay so I just rented this movie.

Tonight I plan to sit in my home theater seating, okay most people would call it a couch, eat popcorn (the buttered kind) and drool over Patrick Dempsey. He is just so adorable isn't he!

Baby Shower

The other week my favorite sister-in-law Michelle and I threw my niece and her step-daughter a baby shower. I love baby showers! You get to sit around eating finger sandwiches and sweets and talking about babies. You also get to play games and win prizes. Oh yeah, I like baby showers!
